Vyx does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
All data you create in Vyx – imported playlists, channels, favorites, watch history, custom groups, and any IPTV provider credentials – is stored locally on your device. Credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain.
Network connections are made only to the servers you configure (the playlist or IPTV provider URLs you enter), plus the optional metadata lookup described below. None of your personal data ever passes through a server we operate.
When you open or browse a movie or series, Vyx may send its title (and nothing else – never your identity, account, or viewing history) to Vyx's metadata service, which looks it up on TMDB (themoviedb.org) to fetch artwork and descriptions. Queries are not stored by Vyx and are never linked to you or any account. You can turn this off any time in Settings > Metadata. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
